Feature Studio + Yogi: Ryan from Yoga Santosha

We love to feature the wonderful studios around the world that carry our precious Tiny Devotions Malas, Stacks and Scarves. We connected with Ryan from Yoga Santosha in Calgary to hear about his journey with yoga.

What is your most memorable yoga moment?

There are so many to choose from, but the one that stands out by far the most is my first class with Rameen Peyrow at an open house. It was crazy packed and crazy awesome! I finished the class feeling completely wiped, calm, connected, open and wondering when I could take my next class with him.

What inspires you?

My teachers inspire me to dive in and find the teacher that I hope to be, while my fellow yogis always inspire me in watching their practice grow and evolve alongside my own.

How did you find Yoga?

I truly found yoga in the midst of a bad career path, being the heaviest I’d ever weighed and losing sight of who I was or what I wanted. After finding Yoga Santosha and SATTVA, I was one hooked yoga junkie.

What is your fave Mala?

My favourite mala is the contentment mala. With how busy we often make ourselves, how challenging our lives can become  and compound that with living in a very fast-paced society, everyone needs to remember to bring happiness, gratitude and fullness back into every moment!

Any encouraging words for the community?

There were so many in Calgary and surrounding area who had their homes and possessions suddenly taken away from them while others were (and many continue to be) displaced. Many friendly and familiar faces at our studio were affected by the devastating floods including a couple of our own teachers.

Keep strong, true to yourself, and know that this too shall pass – it gets better! Never has Calgary had such a strong sense of community, and it shows in all the smiles, volunteers and love you can see without even having to look for it.

Love is literally in the air – just breathe and be the best version of you that you can be!

Robert: finance 2006 car Okay, alright so the trick to it all is taking you’re time on you’re teasing.

Schön’s death arises out of his heart before which everything else was idle
and alien. Typically, if you finance 2006 car are just winging it.
So CNBLUE could be here today. Because like I’ve worked day
jobs my whole life up until this point.
